About Hiya
Hiya is a calmer place to meet someone new.
Random chat sites tend to be loud, cluttered and a little unsafe. We wanted the opposite: a fast, quiet interface that works well on a phone, real moderation, and a Report button that's always within reach.
You can chat by text, voice or video with one stranger at a time, or join rooms built around topics, languages and countries. There's no sign-up and one-to-one chats aren't stored.
Hiya is free. Clearly labelled ads on our content pages pay for the servers. Ads never appear inside your chats.
